John has been in the television production game for ten years and has been a key component in the animation and design departments of some of the top sports networks in the world. With an animation and design background, John started out in Manhattan as a character animator with Nick Jr., bringing some of their signature children’s characters to life.
He would soon transition to the sports side of television production taking the position as one of the head 3D Animators at ESPN. There, he was part of the team that changed the look of SportsCenter, as well as all of ESPN’s entities to what it is today, earning him his first Emmy. John created many more complete packages for ESPN including 2005 Hockey Night, “The Pulse”, and the original “Mike and Mike in the Morning” package.
In 2006 he was lured to ESPN’s main competitor, Fox Sports. There, he would become more than an animator - John began producing his projects from start to finish - including writing, design, music, VO and edits. He became a self-sustained creative producer and in this period would go on to win four more Emmys for his creations.
Since then, he has been lending animation, design and motion graphics to major networks such as MLB Network and The Golf Channel, all while developing new television show concepts and marketing ideas. John is not satisfied with 5 Emmys and is always on the lookout for that concept that will get him number six and beyond.
